Mary’s nursing career began in 2010 when she first became a Registered Nurse. In 2017 She graduated from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO with her master’s degree in nursing and became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) licensed in Illinois. She has been blessed to work in many facets of healthcare since and has also become a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). With a strong foundation in both primary care and mental health, her approach aligns overall wellness and hormone optimization with physical, mental, and lifestyle well-being.
Known for a thoughtful, compassionate, and collaborative approach, she is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard and empowered in their care.
The office accepts most major insurances as well as affordable self pay rates; however, does not currently accept any Medicare/Medicaid plans.

Meet Your Provider
I grew up in a small town, ventured out to train and gain experience in diverse settings, and ultimately felt called to return home to serve the underserved in our community. Today, I provide care locally while also expanding access to women throughout Illinois via telehealth. My mission is to bring high-quality, comprehensive mental and hormone care to women who may not otherwise receive it.

Provider Specialties
Mary has extensive experience caring for adults across the lifespan and is passionate about helping patients feel their best through individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Her clinical focus includes mental health management, mood and energy concerns, stress management, metabolic health, hormone replacement therapy, and overall wellness optimization.
By integrating mental well-being, physical health, and lifestyle factors, she partners closely with patients to identify root causes, educate them on their options, and support sustainable improvements in quality of life.

Many of the women I work with are high-functioning and deeply capable. They are managing careers, marriages, children, aging parents, and nonstop schedules — yet quietly struggling with anxiety, irritability, brain fog, low mood, sleep disruption, or a sense that they are not themselves. Often, they do not realize that hormones may be playing a significant role.
As a mother of two boys, my first and greatest role is being a mom. I understand the daily demands of balancing career responsibilities, partnership, sports schedules, school activities, and the constant mental load women carry. That lived experience deeply informs my practice. I know what it feels like to “hold it all together” while wondering why it feels harder than it should.

HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy)
I am a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry and Family Medicine with Full Practice Authority, specializing in the connection between mental health and hormone health for women in midlife. One of my approaches to treating women's mental health is through hormone replacement therapy.
This approach connects the dots between psychiatric symptoms and hormonal shifts. I provide comprehensive evaluations, thoughtful prescribing, and hormone optimization when clinically appropriate. I treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related symptoms, perimenopause, and hormone-driven mood changes using an evidence-based, whole-person model.
Mary accepts patients in IL for in person and telehealth with most insurance plans and self pay rates of $175 for initial appointment and $75 for follow ups.
